How does a fitness band work?
Fitness bands have quickly become a preferred accessory for those who like to stay active. These are usually small accessories that you wear on your wrist, like a bracelet, which can measure things such as how far you’ve run, how many steps you’ve taken, your heart rate, how many calories you’ve burnt, and a number of other things. In general, they’re accessories that let you keep up with your fitness goals and also remind you to stay active.
There are different types of fitness bands and depending on which one you choose, you can typically connect it to your smartphone to track your goals, share your progress and receive notifications. Usually you pair your fitness tracker with your smartphone using Bluetooth, allowing it to transmit data and send and receive notifications.
